Hungary Claims 1-0 Victory, Eliminating Scotland from Euro 2024

Budapest, Hungary - Hungary forward Barnabás Varga is stable in hospital after suffering a fractured cheekbone during a mid-air collision with Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn in Sunday's Euro 2024 qualifier.

Varga went down in the second half after a free kick, and was carried off on a stretcher. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was diagnosed with the fractured cheekbone.

Despite the injury, Hungary managed to secure a late 1-0 victory, courtesy of a goal from Dominik Szoboszlai in the 89th minute. The win has officially eliminated Scotland from contention for Euro 2024.
