Pakistan cricketer Azam Khan secures spot in national squad
Azam Khan, the son of former cricketer Moin Khan, has earned a place in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming T20 bilateral series against New Zealand.
The 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman has been in impressive form for Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League, scoring 199 runs in eight innings at an average of 28.43.
Khan made his international debut in 2019 and has since played three T20Is for Pakistan. He has also represented the Pakistan A team and the Under-19s.
Pakistan will play three T20Is against New Zealand on October 11, 13 and 15. The matches will be played in Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore.
